- Buy

- Take
the opportunity of moving house to return items borrowed from friends, neighbours
and libraries.
- Reserve your storage unit in advance, so it’s one
less thing to do on the day you are moving house.
- Disassemble
furniture the day before you’re moving house.
- Make an early start.
Moving house often takes longer than you think.
- Consider arranging
for someone to look after the children, as moving house can be stressful for them
too.
- Empty bins, lock windows and doors and get ready for an exciting
new chapter to begin.
